Restaurant projected 129 guests all day today. At 2pm total guests served was 386 with another 80+ in the dining room and a full bar.
This is in Florida where bars were ordered today to shut down by 5pm and restaurants to cut their capacity by 50% (which for us is still just under 200 people as we seat 398) yesterday was pretty much the same. People do not care. Friend owns an Irish Pub and he expects upwards of 2,000 people to visit his establishment today. Hes already been contacted about closing or facing a fine for violating enforcement code. He said hell gladly pay the fine over shutting down on his busiest day of the year.
