I am full down ballot and for Sanders. Saying I wasn't voting at all was just Super Tuesday salt. I already voted for Sanders in the primary, too.

Looks like I am getting laid off most likely. Yay. Grrr. Wolf banned all non life essential jobs. Which mine is considered one. However he said coal mining wasnt life essential and had to close. Which of course my job can't run without coal anyways. So the mines petitioned and got the ruling reversed but it freaked out my job and they are cutting production down to minimums and looks like preparing a shutdown by the looks of it.

In theory yes.

In practice, it seems pretty damn unlikely to me that the unproven treatment is worse than the deadliest epidemic to hit the globe since 1918 (at least!)

If the cure is worse than the disease, in this case, it proves they are over-hyping the disease.

We have always made the most humane decisions on who to live in emergency situations. Look at the titanic and shit. Women and children first. (Ofc money and shit always fucking corrupts the process). That said, if you have to make a choice you have to. Doesn't change the fact it is death panels, but it is what it is unfortunately. I am sure most 80 year olds not fearing for their life would want a young person to live over a person at the end of their time too.

When Trump first announced he would be heading up the team, it took a few seconds to remember who he was.

For what it's worth, Chloroquine has been a known drug effective against it for a while because of the type of virus we're dealing with. There's a few others out there too, I've personally got a solid supply of one that's extremely effective against all lipid coated diseases, including influenza and SARS. I don't expect many reports on it, unfortunately, as its value as a drug is financially zero. But I do expect it used more often behind the scenes and in labs trying to kill the virus. Most of the drugs being tested/known to be effective have dosages known for other diseases and safe levels of consumption, what's unknown are the specific values where it's most effective to this Coronavirus.

Also, hair loss is a known side effect for Chloroquine, so I'm never taking it.
