3rd map
After the first few stages, I'm finding this one a lot easier than the first. I'm beating the majority of the bosses on the first try. Spamming soul core summons makes things a ton easier.

I'm finishing up the first area. On A Favor for the Blacksmith. Enjoying it so far, but it feels more like Nioh 1.5 than Nioh 2 tbh.

Dual hatches and switch glaive are totally new, and new weapons to come as expansions drop.

The character creator is p good too. There's an option to input character codes and use designs others have made. I'm playing momji (ninja gaiden dragon shrine maiden) atm.

I hate to say it, but this game is really kicking my ass. Like 20+ deaths to each of the first 3 bosses, and now these stupid side missions are owning me. Just lost 3 full levels' worth of amrita dying twice to some pogo stick motherfucker and then to the awful slow rolling wheelmonk attack on my way back to try yet again. Just livid.

I love souls and it looks cool but I can't stand how every hit displays a giant number that covers up mist of the enemy.

Ahh, cleared out the first area and stomped the 4th boss easily. It was good to have a nice easy one for a breather. Not sure I beat any boss first try in Nioh.

XD. I just made a pretty basic chick. I don't like to spend too much time in there. Ill post it it I turn it on later. Im suppose to return the game today, but I might just hold onto it and bank on Family Video closing for awhile >_>

The Mysterious One Night Castle might be my least favorite mission yet. I keep getting lost, and every square inch of this place is covered by a sniper somewhere. Bloody annoying.

And drowning hazards all over the place. Ugh.

There's a Reddit thread for character codes. Some notable codes are 2b from nier, and big boss from mgs 5

i just finished the last main mission on the second area. grinding the diehard submission trying to get the golden boy set. i thought id try a different weapon this game, but im back on the axe i used most in the first...

im going pretty slow, i like to 100% everything before moving areas. i enjoying it quite a bit, the yokai abilities spices it up nicely i think.

At least I managed to survive (a rarity for me in this game), but it cost me like 4 elixirs. I was expecting an Ippon-Datara or something. Scary.

Just finished off the second area after completing The Shiftling's Wise Judgment. This mission was deeply confusing to me. These are both supposed to be my allies, no? And I'm just casually murdering soldiers who are supposed to be on my side? No wonder these guys hate Shiftlings.
