I guess my taxes would eventually go up to pay more of other peoples bills. That assumes that our federal debt is ever actually repaid rather than rolled over until a default inevitably occurs (either via non payment to treasury holders, or massive inflation).

Another effect would be accrued through my now 2 year old son. If the government bails out universities from having to get their costs under control, my sons education will become more expensive.
