Breaking the curfew will lead to a 40,000 (about $1,350usd) fine and/or 2 years in jail. Likely will become even stricter in the next few days. I gotta go to immigration tomorrow. My visa expires on Sunday. Apparently the Thai government is going to give a blanket amnesty for overstay and automatic extensions for anyone who entered Thailand after March 1st (technically I entered on March 6th after doing a visa run to Malaysia). If it isn't in effect by tomorrow then I have to pay to get a 30 day extension.
