I'm just frustrated at how they keep saying there are millions of masks and protective equipment sent to the hospitals, but we still get reports of healthcare workers not receiving anything.

That said, this caused the situation to be worse. His followers cling to every word as if they were spoken from God, you can't tell these people lies and then expect them all to do a 180 when shit hits the fan. To this very second there are Trump supporters who believe what he originally said about this virus and that he is now being forced to lie. Misinformation is as bad as government inaction since even when the government takes the right actions, people won't believe it. All things considered 100000 lives is a lot lower than it could have been, but it's also a lot higher than it could have been.
