You can do literally whatever job you want

school forces you to watch powerpoints made by someone who is horribly underqualified to teach a subject you don't need to know

School is a waste of time, money, and stresses most people out due to all the bullshit busy work that is assigned.

School. It seemed largely pointless in high school and was stressful in college.

Working actually feels like i'm getting something meaningful done and I'm getting paid to do it

Very much so, and that your actually getting something of value with work be it a pay check and experience, or actually accomplishing something that mattered.

School may have been something worth the time of day before the 1999 but but early or mid 2000s it was fucking garbage and degrees became less and less valuable.

I didn't mind school all that much. I wouldn't say I liked it but I didn't wake up every morning dreading it. I was able to coast on natural ability to high C's, B's, and a few A's, so it wasn't demanding or stressful. If I had put in a little more effort and prioritized right, I probably would've enjoyed it and gotten way more out of it than I did.

I fucking loathe working any kind of structured job though. Retail, food industry, call center, warehouse, didn't matter what I was doing, it was always an unpleasant combination of having smoke blown up my ass about what I get in return for tickling a boss or manager's balls in just the most perfect, delicate way possible without being too rough or too gentle while also walking a tight rope. There was no way to get ahead and keep my dignity and sanity.

Self-employment has been pretty great though. Pick who I answer to and when/where I work. Even if I get a job I don't like doing or someone I don't like, I know it's not permanent and it will be over before long.

I hated school when I was there, but once I left I missed it.

The lifestyle of it, actually. Being fairly carefree, living at home, getting to see your friends every day, chasing girls.

The schoolwork/"learning" process was monotonous and boring, but so are most jobs. It sucks that a lot of us spend our days just doing the same things over and over again ad infinitum.

School.

The place that grades notes/annotations and has people getting upset that teenagers fall asleep during a PowerPoint about the Vietnam War at 8am.

Each class gives projects and homework assignments simultaneously that take hours each.

You dont get to have a calculator at work

Pointless forced general study classes.

Forced language classes too late to learn effectively.

School just sucked.

School teaches you plenty of life experience too. Schools have a pretty flawed system but you morons saying you didn't learn anything are stupid.

I find having a fulfilling job, good money, freedom, and a much better way of life trumps any of the time I was in school.

If anything I get to see my friends more now and we get to do fun shit together since we are not dependent on parents.
