people would just gift their kids money before they died.
And even if you ban the ability to gift people money, they could purchase services or make a sales transaction to transfer the money to another person. They could just buy their son's car for a million dollars. And if you want to ban the ability to make purchases, and gifting, and ownership then why would anyone work or do anything. Are people going to work just so they can pay NEETs money so they can drop out of college and then play mario kart at home, shit posting online on how all working people's money should go to them. Damn, how compelling. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I thought gifts were taxable over a certain threshold already. Services would be gifts. Sales transactions would be income.

You mean the best idea.
And taxes go all sorts of services. Not sure who gives a fuck about NEETs. Further, inheritance taxes have a minimum. Those taxes would affect the massively wealthy only. if we're so hellbent on an income tax, then just tax all forms of income as income.

It's money that's already been taxed.Considering how many taxes exist that are taxing already taxed money, that isn't a very good argument. --- I want a pet Lavos Spawn. [Order of the Cetaceans: Phocoena dioptrica] ... Copied to Clipboard!
