I'm not sure how social distancing works when you reduce the frequency of buses that run. It would make more sense to run more buses so that it would be LESS crowded.

Hawaii is doomed. The democrats in charge have no idea what they're doing.

The idea is to not use public transportation as much. (Or be in public at all) If you have the same number of people out and about and more buses its not exactly going to help as much as urging people to avoid public places as much as possible. If people are doing that (and many are because certain jobs are either closed or WFH) there is no need to run so many buses, thus limiting the number of drivers and station workers who are also out...fewer buses doesnt mean everyone should just pack into one. Logically, if these people are using the bus to get to an essential job or to the market, you time it properly and the drivers prevent over crowding.

...it really couldnt be that difficult of a concept to just stop and think about for you, could it?

Anyone who actually lives in Hawaii knows that Ige is incompetent, that the focus on Waikiki is deceptive because that's largely a tourist trap compared to the rest of the island (so of course it'll be empty), etc.

Only the Lt. Gov shows some semblance of leadership, but the governor is trying his hardest to keep him away from the camera because petty democrat party infighting for the next governorship.
