Just landed at the beach kingdom where there's a big purple octopus drinking soda
Also, is there a point to getting all the moons in a kingdom? Like is there a deeper "plot" to every kingdom like how I cleaned the power plant in Donk City? --- But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them - bring them here and kill them in front of me ~Jesus Christ ... You're about 60% done with the main story, I'd say. Get as many moons as you want. Stop when you feel like it. There's not really a deeper plot reason for it, but once you beat the game.....you might get motivated to do it.

Just landed at the beach kingdom where there's a big purple octopus drinking sodaIt depends on the kingdom, I believe. I wouldn't go out of your way collecting moons unless you just enjoy collecting them, tbh. And I believe there are some moons that only unlock after you beat the story. There are levels you unlock for hitting certain moon counts though in the end game. --- <insert sig here> ... Copied to Clipboard!

After beating Bowser, there are some more kingdoms to unlock that require a total number of moons, as opposed to the collecting a few in each Kingdom that's been called for to advance so far.

More moons open up in post game. I'd wait until then if you're planning on trying to get all/most.
