I trust that's gonna factor more with Europe. Soccer is strong in Latin America but I don't think the particular sub-genre that Rocket League brings outweighs the big nostalgia factor that Dragonball has there.

Some pretty big splits today, with Animal Crossing having over a 5% difference between registered and anonymous users. Portal 2 has a split of almost 4.5% favoring registered users more.

Former visitor to this board, just realized my bracket isn't complete. I had BOTW over Skyrim in the finals, but it must've glitched or I clicked something, so now Skyrim isn't even winning its division in my bracket! Wtf.

I assume there's absolutely no way to ask mods/admins to make Skyrim the winner for all the matches up to the final? I'm sitting 2 points back of the leaders right now so I probably won't win the whole thing, but I wanted to hit the leaderboard.

A valiant effort by Goku and the boys. DBZ's competitive scene was over in a flash, and a fighter really isn't the type of game to gain traction on GameFAQs. I actually think well of Rocket League (it's got a nightmare opponent next round, but I think it would have looked respectable against something like MGS5), so DBZ's high percentage here is a testament to the franchise. Between this and Spidey - these outsiders aren't lookin too bad.

This match is proving that the genre of the game matters more than the franchise name. Fighting games are weak here, with the exception of Smash and the 2 all-time classic games Street Fighter II and Mortal Kombat II.

If we had a Dragon Ball RPG game in this match instead of DBFZ, it would have a much better chance of winning this match. But the nature of the DBZ anime clearly lends itself more towards the fighting game genre than any other genre of games.
