Before putting your two cents in read the topic. He starts in on me at message 42 because I critiqued a movie. He then escalates it further but I'm the jerk. I was discussing the movie a not anyone in particular and then he false quotes me. Sorry I will value your opinion when you can push back a little. I did read the topic. What makes you think I didnt? Because I dont agree with you or something? But he didnt start this. You did. You started complaining about the movie out of nowhere seemingly. He just wanted to let people know about the movie. What he said was in response to how you were acting in the topic. And I agree with him. In the end, just because you dont like a movie doesnt mean its bad. People apparently liked it. You seem to be one of the few who dont. And then act like nobody really likes it or whatever. I still dont read that is incoherent. I am saying no moment in the film is based on any type of realism. It is like trying to say a salvador dali film is a factual representation of ww2. The movie is an incoherent train wreck that is only championed by people who think that all people who are rich are evil regardless of the income. Thats why they liked the showdown in rich dudes mansion.

Things that dramatically affected the suspension of disbelief
1. The mansion in question is owned by an architect. If anyone would spend time on maintenance (albeit by proxy) he would and a yearly inspection on such a structure would be needed for insuarance and such as they are in a monsoon zone. Think LA with earthquakes.

2. The questionable intelligence of said family. They were under qualified for the jobs at best and yet they decide to pull a heist to make money. What was there end game. Get everyone fired and enjoy the easy life. Sorry thats like getting a guy in accounting fired to take his job when you cant do 2+2.

3. The woefully inept cops that after a murder, atempted murder, home invasion, extortion, poisoning and other crimes. They didnt bother do a house check. This makes the ending even more non sensible as there is no way that any poloce dept barring the police academy films should have let this happen.

Bpttom line the people who love the faux classwar movie probably get more entertainment from Scooby Doo or Paw Patrol than any rational adult should.

I ask that because your sentence structures are garbled, you dont seem to have a organized train of thought and you ramble from one point to another. Not to mention this whole spiel is based on finding a movie unrealistic due to the smallest of things when, news flash, no movie is realistic. I dont want to be mean but it reads like youre either intoxicated or have some sort of social issue.

Do you not realize that phrasing causes people to be defensive. You could phrase that so many different ways and yet you chose to do so in a way to start a fight. idk, it feels like your main gripe is just that you believe the film demonizes the rich people and glorifies the poor which is a valid take, in fact the film is meant for us to have different interpretations of it. The film does also show that the rich people have their own troubles and that being poor doesn't excuse the actions they take as well. It's just an all-around Shakespearean tragedy. Using it being unrealistic as criticism is really weird though, which is why my second sentence might've seemed a bit harsh. All fictional movies are unrealistic and compared to most movies it's fairly grounded.
