There is no such thing as "Metal Gear Solid 3". Never was, never is, never will be. There is "Metal Gear - Snake Eater", the first game in Naked's Saga. There are no Solid's in any of this whatsoever at all. The circling loops has finally closed itself with Phantom Pain. Naked and Solid. The Ouroboros of sorts. Two Snakes eating each other, shaped in circle. It all started with Naked, and it all ended with Solid. There never was, and never will be "Metal Gear Solid 3" or "Metal Gear Solid V". There are no Solids in this. David's story started with "Metal Gear", continued with "Metal Gear 2 - Solid Snake", then Metal Gear 3 came next, the "Metal Gear 3 - Solid Integral", then came the "Sons of Patriots Substance" - "Metal Gear 4", then it all ended with "Guns of Patriots", the last chapter, the last "David's Metal Gear" - "Metal Gear 5". "Snake's Revenge" never happened, as well as never happened both of the AC!Ds and Revengeance, all of these are uncanon. The whole timeline is set within two Sagas. Saga of Naked, Big Boss' Story. Saga of David, Solid Snake's Story. Naked Venom Big Boss - Snate Eater Subsistence, Portable Ops, Peace Walker, Phantom Pain. David Solid Old Snake - Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake, Metal Gear 3 Integral, Metal Gear 4 Sons of Liberty Substance, Metal Gear 5 Guns of Patriots. Snake's Revenge/AC!Ds/Revengeance never happened.
Konami screwed up big-time. They've completely 'dun goofed it all up. They should have never included the "Solid" to non-Solid games. This completely messed all things up. And all of this happened because Konami got too greedy and decided to cater to such inexperienced "modern age geymurr" scrubs like you, so they could swim on the wave of third Metal Gear's popularity and gain more monnies. Yes, it's always about the monnies, in the end. There never was, never is, and never will be "Metal Gear Solid 3" and "Metal Gear Solid 5". There are nothing Solid in those. These are purely Naked Venom's Saga, Big Boss story of life and fall, before David came. All games before Metal Gear, are prequel stories about Naked Venom Big Boss. No place for Solids in those. There are no "Solid 3" or "Solid Portable Ops" or "Solid Peace Walker" or "Solid Phantom Pain". Never was, never is, never will be.
