Jackbox games: yes/no

Jackbox games are games typically played by friends crowded around a TV. Each player uses their phones to play the various games by writing, drawing, selecting, etc their answers or actions.

you can see what kinds of games are included by going to their official website:
https://www.jackboxgames.com/

However, in lieu of actual person to person gatherings, one can arrange for a stream of the "screen" to be set up while anyone viewing can play remotely from any location.

To keep the trolls at bay who often ruin these games (per my experience hosting similar streams) the room code to join and participate would not be displayed publically on the stream itself, but rather in a dedicated CE thread for the participants.

Any interest?

Depends on what time it's hosted, but in general I'd be up for it

I played with some people here when the very first Jackbox Party Pack came out. I've been wishing people here played it more with subsequent releases

It'll be like CAH, but actually fun
This is true. As long as we avoid the games that tend to be better in physical groups, such as Push the Button (a Werewolf/The Resistance style game), it tends to work out very well.

Thinking I'll do one at some point tomorrow to see where we're at then. Naturally, these games are better with full groups, so we'll see what happens.

Just play rounds of Drawful 1 + 2, all the Fibbage games, and Quiplash if you want to include audiences. I forget what most of the other games were, but those ones are good for anon multiplayer as opposed to a streamer with a fanbase who'll fit in with the more specific target audience games.

We will indeed be keeping it simple. Avoiding games like Push the button and others that depend on "being there" will go a long way for this.
