Seriously, when I was trying to sell my turnips yesterday, it took like 10 mins longer to get in and out of this person's town because some dipshit was holding up the line at the airport. I eventually waited until he wasn't in dialogue with Orville and shoved his ass over so I could talk to him and depart.

Yeah when I was trying to leave Allen's island it was like "Sorry there's interference!" and it almost makes it sound like your character isn't even on your own Switch anymore when you visit someone else's island.

Damnit, CJ is back for the 3rd time and Flick has only been here once, ive got 36 storage spaces being eaten up by tarantulas . Hes also on a 3rd level cliff in a section that has no bridge to it from the main part of my island and no incline up to it, how the fuck he even get up there

I'm still waiting on Flick to come back. Got a bunch of tarantulas ready.

My nephew is just catching any bug in anticipation.

it really upsets me that I can't put the museum in the exact spot I want. it's one square off of my plan whenever I try to put it down, and that's terrible.

Start small with terraforming. Make some general pathing to your town hall, house, museum, and shops.

I'm down to my final 2 inclines so can't wait to start replacing all the cactus sets with actual decoration furniture to retain the 5 star rating.

I'm just annoyed at how tedious a process it is and if you're slightly angled in the wrong direction you might need to make 3 more moves to fix whatever you just fucked up.

Coconuts are basically worthless aside from crafting a few recipes and eating when you want to move trees so having 40 coconut trees is pretty excessive unless you just like how your beaches look with them there. Otherwise I also have a bunch of fruit trees (15 of each all clumped together in one section) for now while I have the space, at least until I decide to actually do something with my island but I'm too busy breeding flowers and don't wanna have to move everything around rn

Holy fucking shit. There's a hard limit of 8 bridges per town.

I set out to make a Venetian style town with lots of canals. Now I have to make ugly, fake bridges using the wooden paths + fencing.

What the hell is with this game and arbitrary limits like that? I thought the whole gimmick of it was build up your island into whatever you want.

Honestly, what's the point of fruit trees after a certain point? I planted a ton in my first week, but now I feel like they take up too much space and don't make enough money. Now I am breeding flowers and finding it difficult to get the space needed to grow flowers.

There are recipes that use different fruit as well as having it handy for when you need to move around trees and such, some people like the look of them. But ultimately yes, in a finalized island you almost certainly won't have more than a handful of fruit trees, I planted all of mine very early and since I won't be terraforming for a while and still have enough room for flowers so far I just leave them. It's a passive ~1M bells a month at least

Yeah, I think I'm going to build a stockpile of about 100 of each fruit before dwindling down their numbers to make more space. My island is just too cluttered right now. It's annoying.

Hybrid Yellow + Hybrid Yellow = 6.25% chance for Green, 25% chance for a Special Purple
Special Purple + Special Purple = 25% chance at Green

Purple Pansies:
Seed White + Seed White = Blue (25%)
Blue + Seed Red = Hybrid Red (100%)
Hybrid Red + Hybrid Red = Purple (6.25%)

alternatively, Hybrid Island Orange + Hybrid Island Orange = Purple (dont know the %)

Purple Windflower:
Same basic method as Pansies, except the alternative method obviously

Native flowers shouldnt change any percentages but dont use them where it calls for Seed flowers since nobody knows if they have the same genetics as Seeds
