most people arent going to have the money to throw around. These optimistic economists are using that once this is over, everyone is going to go crazy spending money and getting small business and the economy back on track approach, which really isnt true.

Many people are out of work or have their hours drastically cut. People arent going to have money to order mixed drinks at the club every night and steak at the local restaurants. People are also going to end up with a stockpile of food, alcohol, or other essential goods which they will not need to purchase in our recovering economy.

I don't think "once this is over" people are going to be keen to go out at all.

I think it'll be 2021 before people start going to malls, restaurants, etc... on the regular again

Exactly. The problem being that most of the places that will be hurt the worst are small business. Ive seen people already closing and saying theyre not going to open after this because they cannot afford the rent space and insurance when theyre not getting profit. One month without profit shut them down, which really casts light on the forces working against small business. Even if Trump gives them some kind of bailout, it wont be enough and it wont cover the lack of customers once the quarantine orders are lifted.
