But it's fucking annoying that I'm forced to use the app on my desktop computer because it can't buffer in the browser right and gives me a shitty resolution.

On top of that, the app is horrible. Probably the clunkiest piece of shit I've used in a while.

This is on top of the UI being needlessly painful to navigate.

I don't like their UI. And there are bugs. Often when I'm watching something the play/pause/etc. controls disappear and there's a grey overlay over everything with an X button in the corner. I have to refresh the page to get it to return to normal

It's my favorite of the streaming services primarily due to its library.
It also feels more like cable than a binge service. Idk how to put it. I can leave it on and not go crazy, but since Netflix doesn't have ads, my mind goes numb by the end of the second episode of something.
I can stream personal shows just fine from a disc or computer, but services like Netflix or prime make my head hurt. Pluto will do the same thing because its ads are so timed and evenly spaced.

It "works" but doesn't buffer properly and I have to watch videos in a shitty res unless I use the app. The only reason I even got the app in the first place is because I found a thread where other people were having the same issue.

I would understand thinking that, but everything else plays fine, including other streaming services.

And my internet speed isn't too shabby.

So far, NF is the only one to really get streaming right. All of the other major services seem to have one or more issues.

NF's only big problem is that it sometimes skips you an episode or two when you switch from a computer to a smart TV.

Disney+ has a fantastic library. The awfulness is all in the navigation of menus and videos

That's weird. I never have a problem with it. And it actually works better on my tv than it does on my phone. Also, whole my phone gets ads, using my computer stops the ads for some reason. I don't know of it's due to the virus or something. But I've been liking that...
