In my area, gas has been around $1.75 to $1.85 per gallon.

TC is referring to the fact that there's refineries that are producing more than they can sell/store so they are giving barrels away.

On one hand, I'm annoyed that despite all of this shit, gas prices here have only gone down like $0.20/gallon in the past 2 months.

On the other hand, I barely drive anymore and don't need it, so I guess it wouldn't matter. But damn is gas quick to skyrocket as soon as there's one of a 100 excuses as to why it's happening, but slow as hell to go down when no one is buying it. Such a damn con.

California gas prices are still high just like everything else. Taxes. Water restrictions despite the fact we're no longer in a drought. I hate that we have to pay by the meter. What a failed state due to lousy state officials.

Gee, it's almost like ludicrous taxes inflate the cost of gas or something.

CA is dealing with historic, critically low ground water levels. It's not a seasonal issue that's solved when one drought goes away.
Its years and years of turning what was a desert into farmland and the home of millions of people. The water just isn't there to support it long term.

Don't forget the power outages from July-October... or whenever PG&E want and the harbouring of illegals
