That argument seems deceptive and manipulative to me. Joe Bidens platform is a grab bag of ideas that are popular with Democratic voters. But Democratic voters don't dictate the agenda of the Senate. Even if Democrats took it over, which they very likely will not, the number of conservative senators makes the math on most of his plans just as impossible. Like you can use reconciliation for a few things. Obviously we need to pressure him to move to the left, which with Biden we have at least a small chance of doing that, rather than no chance with Trump.
