it's pretty good! I mean, that's from lowered expectations of all games being weak and vote totals being even weaker, but for a 2020 contest it's pretty enjoyable. pretty good bracket placement overall, maybe it would have been improved by a couple of tweaks but no big deal.

I'm real excited for smash/odyssey and the fight for who gets to lose to witcher 3 should be fun.

Yeah, there are some changes in bracket placement I would've made, but it's definitely been entertaining. At the very least, it's setting up some pretty good matches toward the end of the bracket, which is what you want.

what leon said + I was thinking about doing it in this topic and setting a time for them to open up (or setting a time when it would be allowed to call dibs on an announced match)

and maybe some of the matches that have more of a demand can have multiple guest spots? I dunno open to suggestions

pretty good overall, the amount of fodder blowouts in round 1 was a bit of a drag, but rounds 2 and 3 have been solid

echoing what the others said about some wasted bracket spots but mostly good placements overall

I was also thinking about doing more 'Posts from the Crew Archive' during the break if there's any write-ups from previous contests that people want to see or discuss.

I probably switched to Melee for the crew even though I had Brawl in my bracket.

I actually wonder if Mario/Samus is a more apt comparison though. if this goes 60/40 it will be. my guess is its not close.

nah, Draven was so clearly one sided. that was a takeover. in ye olden days, there were arguments on each side. Undertale is more like the old days than Draven.

Maybe the matches themselves sucked less, but the Draven stuff had people making fun of users committing suicide.

Also, Mega Man > Charizard remains the highlight of that contest and wouldn't have been as hype had Pokmon not wrecked brackets elsewhere.
