If you're planning on voting for one of the major party candidates, you're sort of stuck between two guys who have a history of sexual assault accusations. In that case, you are left to ignore said accusations and focus on the other aspects of their candidacy. Therefore, it is not surprising that liberals will ignore Biden's issues and conservatives Trump's.

In that case, you are left to ignore said accusations and focus on the other aspects of their candidacy. The one issue is that Democrats painted themselves into a corner with Kavanaugh's hearing. You can't champion the rhetoric of taking every rape accuser at their word and then pick apart Reade's bullshit story. And it absolutely is bullshit.

Except that's not fairly accurate. Did democrats and the media harp on accusations against Trump like they did Kavanaugh? No. The only reason why the Kavanaugh accusation seemed so "loud" was due to the proximity of his appointment and the focus of the politics at the time.

Biden was making a specific and emphatic comparison between the relative progress and civility of the present moment, on one hand, and the upheaval and civil discord of his own youth, in the late 1960's. He was not speaking in general or absolute terms.

Sure, but to add on to that. Biden has been wealthy and connected his entire life. His so-called hardships during that time were learning how to be nice to black people hes comparing that to people not being able to afford basic standards of living, becoming destitute from healthcare bills, etc. He doesnt have that much of a defense to stand on here imo, when you consider that.
