First of all, when he explains (or conveniently fails to explain) "black culture" all he does is mention the social problems of black people, so the cause of the social problems of black people is the social problems of black people! No shit Sherlock, low education, high crime, breakdown of social structure, you mean to tell me all these things are related?? Let's press the question though. WHAT is the cause of these problems. If you just buzzword "black culture" then you're going to get the reaction the audience gave him. The social problems of black people are caused because... black people are black? Really, just like that, no sugar coating? Or you know there are deeper historical, socioeconomic what have you causes that we're dealing with here. And sure, I hate to say this but I understand his point, "racism" is also a buzzword that ultimately fails to take a real, honest look at the problems and which can end up doing more harm than good. Still much better than "black culture" though. That's just plain stupid. And then, police abuse against blacks is not an issue. Well, you can't on the one hand stress the problems of "black culture" and then on the other hand minimize the reactions of other groups (for example police) to those problems.
