Tails is in the ring to kick us off. Through some backtraces and investigation, he's figured out the identity of the guy sending weird messages, and has requested a match with him! That "FOXDIE" bit wasn't so clever, was it....REVOLVER OCELOT? Ocelot himself appears, looking untroubled and doing the hand thing. (67, Inscrutable gets Adequate) Unfortunately, Tails' preparation doesn't seem to have covered Ocelot's fighting style, and the vet doesn't seem too thrown off by having to fight an anthro flying fox half his size. Ocelot gets the big showcase win. (68)

Nack gets a runback challenging Omega for the 50 Ring Belt, but this time he has Kairi Hojo by his side....and that winds up being the difference maker, as a sneaky elbow strike here and a trip there give Nack the boost he needs to win the title! (51) Next up is the Tag Title match...The Bruiser Brothers prevail over Espio and Mighty! (50) The Chaotix regroup backstage, rather dejected. Knuckles NEEDS to win the Master Emerald back, and he will, on his pride as its Guardian. (45)

Chaos beats Blaze in a filler match. (57) Rouge faces Knuckles for the Master Emerald! Knux throws everything he has....but Rouge just plain beats him clean to retain! Knuckles is distraught alone in the ring, before sadly leaving. (58; Rouge twists her knee in a botch from Knuckles)

Eggman gives us a promo about how he's going to win the tournament tonight and Metal Sonic is going to take out that hedgehog to boot! (65) Amy/Eggman is a hectic and fast-paced affair- Metal Sonic tries to interfere, but Sonic comes out to fight him to the back! Scratch and Grounder run in next....but Shadow appears to take them out! Shadow nods to his recent rival, showing his respect. (and commiserating about their early deaths in Mythic Fragment I guess) With the numbers game neutralized and momentum on her side, Amy puts the Doctor down, winning the Sonic the Fighters tournament! (68) She barely has any time to celebrate before Rouge runs in on her! Rouge can be heard screaming that she's the REAL winner around here! (54)

In a blatant show of distrust, Sonic/Metal gets the ME slot over the title and tournament. It's a solid match though, with Sonic getting the big win! (63)

Sonic Boom
Wk. 3, 2/15

Jazz Jackrabbit kicks us off. He starts into a promo, but Tails Doll's music hits and he gets the heck outta Dodge. (42) Tails Doll is here to beat Blaze one more time before her contract expires, and he does so with little difficulty. (39) Princess Sally is backstage with Bunnie and 'Twan, rallying the troops. They've been having a rough time, but she's tired of living in Sonic's shadow (no relation) all the time! Next week she's got a #1 Contender match for the 50 Rings belt, and that'd be a great step for their little group. (43)

Manny wants to know how it feels being the extremely legitimate 50 Ring Champion, having won the belt entirely on his own! Nack says it feels great, completely no-selling the jab and wandering off. (52) Omega, on the other hand, gets a little steam back by taking down Kairi in a surprisingly good match. (57) He's about to head back when gunfire is heard! Ocelot appears, peppering Omega with revolver fire! Guns being what they are in the Sonic mythos, Omega's robotic body is able to withstand the attack, but the man of mystery appears to have selected his next victim! (59)

The essentially random team of NiGHTS and Big the Cat are in action against the essentially jobber team of Scratch and Grounder. All four dudes need a win, but NiGHTS is the one to get it tonight. (47) Speaking of needing a win, Tails rebounds from his PPV loss by pinning Eddv clean. So much for debut momentum? (62) Tails might not have won at STF, but the big thing is that Sonic put down that Metal ripoff, and Amy embarrassed Eggman to win the tournament! It's a good day for the good guys!.....or so he thinks, until we cut backstage to see Eggman and Metal Sonic roughing up Sonic! (63)

The Bruiser Brothers have beefed up their ranks by including Chaos and Etemon for an 8-man tag against the entirety of Chaotix. (Knuckles, Vector, Espio, and Mighty, don'cha know) Despite the hodgepodge nature of the heel team, the Chaotix are the ones clearly off their game- in particular Knuckles seems unmotivated and Espio seems pissy. This ultimately leads to their downfall, as Espio loses his temper clobbering Etemon, leading to a DQ. (60) Knuckles sadly looks around, and leaves without a word, possibly never to be seen again. (56)

Rouge the Bat is LIVE VIA SATELLITE and selling a leg injury apparently. Not only did that BRUTE Knuckles manhandle her, not only did Sonic get the main event for no reason, but the Master Emerald match was upstaged even by the tournament finals! Nobody respects the champ around here, so she had to make an example of that little Amy punk. Nothing personal. (56) Speaking of Amy, the tournament champ is up against Shadow and Eggman in a triple threat to maybe settle a score or two from the PPV. Solid match, with Amy and Shadow doing a lot of the heavy lifting. Amy proves her point yet again by pinning Shadow! (who will also disappear after this show!) (72)

Sonic Boom
Wk. 4, 2/15

We begin in the ring with NiGHTS taking on Kairi Hojo. Simple and effective opener with NiGHTS going over clean. (59) ...But then Chaos runs in on NiGHTS after the bout! (61) Jazz got away from Tails Doll last week, but he's not so lucky when forced to face him in a match. (51)

Sally is still hyping up Antoine and Bunnie for her #1 Contender match. She's gonna put the Freedom Fighters back on the STH map! (36) Turns out she's facing Eddv. Her speed matches up rather awkwardly with Eddv's brawling, but she manages to overcome the newcomer. (46) Sticks shows up to interview Sally post-match. Sally knows Nack well, and she's not gonna let him run roughshod over this place, backup or no! She's got her own backup, and she's gonna expose Nack as the flash in the pan he is! (52)

Neither Geno nor Etemon have been setting the world on fire since their debuts, but one of them will get a win here! Turns out that's Geno. (50) Manny tries to needle Metal Sonic for the cowardly attack on Tails last week. Metal Sonic is an evil robot and does not particularly care. (48) Sonic and Tails avenge themselves with a win over Scratch and Grounder, despite Tails looking a bit delicate. (49)

Vector, Espio, and Mighty are all quibbling backstage. Knuckles has gone off the grid after last week, and they're starting to give up on him coming back. Vector is trying to pull the Chaotix back together, but Mighty and Espio are at each others' throats. Espio walks out! (48) Ocelot is given a chance to explain his attack on Omega, but he just says a bunch of cryptic nothing about Metal Gear. (62)

Amy teams up with Big for a main event against Eggman and Metal Sonic. Big is a bit out of his depth, and the Eggman Empire roll out their usual arsenal of chicanery to seal a win. In particular, Amy takes a really gross chair shot from Eggman on the outside during the finish. (47, Amy sustains a broken collar bone) Rouge appears on the screen, and whatever was initially planned for this segment, it appears Amy's hurt bad enough to change course. The (injured) champ taunts the (injured) challenger, and Amy just sells. (60)

Sonic Boom
Wk. 1, 3/15

Geno and Kairi Hojo square off in a solid opening bout. Geno gets the win, but one of these days Kairi will be over and then everybody will be in trouble. (45) Etemon regales us with a song. Plenty of boos, but no interruptions. (54) Manny and Jazz get a shot at the Bruiser Brothers for the tag titles! It, uh, doesn't go well for them. (42)

Vector and Mighty try to talk out their issues with Espio, but he's not having any of it! Knuckles was the only thing holding this group of incompetents together, and Espio's going to prove they're nothing now! (47) It's the last two Chaotix against Espio and Eddv. The heels are both doing pretty okay for themselves, but Vector and Mighty come out on top with superior teamwork. (50)

Tails Doll is chasing Sticks around backstage. (44) Ocelot takes down Big the Cat. (65) He reiterates that his next quarry is Omega....who comes out and challenges him to a match at 3-D Blast! So that's a thing. (63) The Freedom Fighters (Sally, Bunnie, and Antoine) are up next in six-man action against Eggman, Metal Sonic, and Nack. Our heroes are in a bit over their heads, but give a good account of themselves before Nack picks up the win. (56) Sally is getting frustrated, and brawls back up the ramp with Nack! (56)

Sonic and Tails are backstage. Eggman's goons have brought in Chaos to stop them tonight, but they've got their own secret weapon...NiGHTS! It doesn't matter how many curves they get thrown, because they're always one step ahead! (62) It certainly seems that way as they battle Chaos, Scratch, and Grounder. Chaos gets annoyed with having to carry, and bails. It's an obvious easy win for the faces, so Scratch and Grounder break out the chairs! It's a DQ, but at least they get some licks in. (62, Scratch clearly doesn't care)

Amy is here in a neck brace to announce that she has broken her collarbone. She's in a world of hurt, but she's going to try to recover in time for her title shot! Rouge hobbles out on crutches with the Master Emerald. Rouge is sympathetic to the #1 Contender's plight- girls gotta stick together when they're hurt! Rouge tells Amy to heal up and they'll have a great match when she's ready. They play to the crowd together....and Rouge hits Amy with a crutch! That devious bat was playing possum! Amy is down and out as the champ stands over her with a smile. (59)
