does anyone know about this?

I have a physical version for vita and I bought a dlc pack. Downloaded and installed but it won't appear anywhere in the game. Did some searching and there were some posts referencing an issue with the vita version but nothing specific or solutions. What do before giving up and asking for refund?

Huh. That's strange. From what I remember, you can pick these from the mode selection screen. Where you would go to start a new game, or pick hero mode, or whatever other modes you have. They should all be there.

I also had the physical version and bought all the DLC and didn't have any issues. Which ones did you buy?

If I got the physical edition for my Vita, which I bought in America, would I be able to purchase and play the DLC from the American PSN Store? I read some reports where people with the physical Vita editions, while able to buy the DLC, weren't able to actually play it.

so i just bought risky boots dlc and i cant install it. it say it cant find application to install it. (i own shante physical version, maybe its problem?)

yeah i thought it was weird it wasn't showing so i looked up a video to see what it looked like. there's another slight issue where sometimes after backing out of menus and go to the mode selection screen, Risky's portrait will have replaced Shantae's for Normal Mode (i don't have the Risky DLC). not sure if that's related but i think i remember this issue from when i played it at release.

ok i think problem solved because the game wasn't updated to the latest version

but don't patches auto-queue when you start the game? is it possible that i turned that preference off or something

No, at least not for me either and I don't remember doing anything. I'll get some sort of error message if I forget, but I always have to manually push the little orange arrow icon thing to get the downloads started. Glad you figured it out!

...the costume DLC isn't all that great though. If you liked the original game, I'd recommend both the other DLC packs much much more.

i don't recall ever manually updating on vita. i'm always prompted for a system update when i start a game or on ps4/ps3 it'll say there's an update when starting the game. >_>

i got the costume pack because i thought it'd be easier to pick up and play since there's no guarantee i finish anything that i start now.

haven't played it since i finished it shortly after release. i liked it but i do remember liking pirate's curse a bit better.

Yeah, I definitely agree as I vastly preferred Pirate's Curse. Half Genie was kind of meh for me, overall. I don't know why. It just didn't click for me the same way the earlier games did. Hope you enjoyed this DLC better than I did.
