I still love Peridot's redemption, though my issue with it is that we had like 4 months of hiatus between this and the beginning of season 3 (heck, we didn't even KNOW it was a season finale at the time IIRC)

Fusion in general isnt like that. Malachite was toxic and Pearl was attracted to the power of Sardonyx.

Hmmmm...
So the Centipede Monster Gem whatever drew a 3-gem'd diagram to show that she, and many other Gems, were destroyed by the Diamonds as they abandoned Earth during the war.
