i'm giving it a listen. i don't know much about most electronic music either, but i think it's kinda chillstep-ish? i stumbled upon this really awesome chillstep solo project awhile back called Killigrew. might wanna check that out. i would always get youtube recs for Blackmill and Electus too whenever i'd listen to Killigrew. never got into either of them though.Giving a real quick sample of Killigrew, it does sound like it might be what I'm looking for. I'll give the others a listen too in a bit. --- From the depths, the thing they called Worm King did rise. Nirn itself did scream in the Mages' and Necromancers' war. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Sounds like chillwave, kinda. With a little chillstep, as the other poster noted, and maybe some chiptune/video gamey influences.
Here are a few things that sound similar-ish. There's definitely a big chiptune/video game influence in the ones I posted. The stuff I posted is by the bassist and guitarist of the metal band Periphery and they both show a lot of video game influence. --- From the depths, the thing they called Worm King did rise. Completely off topic, and I am not asking you to listen to anything.. But I just realized Bach was doing a Bass Drop like 400 years ago. Completely off topic, and I am not asking you to listen to anything..Haha yeah that's not really a modern thing. I mean, it's completely different now but it's definitely a concept that dates back quite a bit. There is still a lot of really unique and innovative music but nearly all musical concepts have been covered years and years ago. For example many people thing that harsh vocals is a thing that started in metal but the vikings actually used both guttural growls and higher pitched screams in their music as well. --- From the depths, the thing they called Worm King did rise.
