Instead of happening in 3 solid parts, it kind of feels like it could be set up in at least 5-6 parts and there are a lot of moments that if you kind of miss it you really don't understand what could be going on. For example, I didn't notice until after the movie but the symbol on the back of the daughter's cloak at the beginning of the movie was the same triangular shape of the window which they kept the mother in at the end of the movie.
