once it hits its stride, that is. (Which is about late season 2 - into season 3). Which coincidentally is exactly when The Office hit its stride

fight me, I dont care. The ensemble cast of Parks is way better than the ensemble cast of The Office

It was generally a lot funnier. Granted, in terms of quality, the original version of The Office was the best because it told a complete narrative arc and avoided a lot of filler. And, in general, shows presented as being documentaries only really work when they're reasonably short because it strains credulity to have a crew watch people for close to a decade for a single documentary.

I loved Modern Family, but fell off around season... idk, one of the mid ones. Was shocked by how much had changed when I tuned into a more recent episode. I kinda want to watch the whole run one of these days.

Agree. I liked both, but Park and Rec is stronger IMO.

Its more consistent for sure, after the first season anyways

A few seasons of The Office are better imo, but just as many seasons arent as good

Parks and Rec hits its stride with the second season and stays pretty good all the way through

I never really watched the office. I've seen some funny stuff, but it never really clicked with me. Maybe I';; try again later. But I did watch Parks and Rec and loved it! I still love re-watching it. I watched some episodes with my SO and couldn't stop laughing just like it was the first time all over again...

Parks and Rec is wack and boring. Doesnt deserve to even be compared to The Office.

Parks and Recreation is way too American for me, I can't stand it

I hearted Andy and April big time. Loved freaking Ron to death. Some of the other chars were ok, but I liked the ones I listed over any of the chars in The Office.

I NEVER liked the main boss dude in the office (Forget his name), and wasn't really a fan of dwight either. I did like Jim and his wife (forgot her name) and the girl that replaced her eventually. But yeah I liked the parks and rec cast more than the office cast over all.

Also tried rewatching them both recently and got to like season 3-4 in P&R before getting distracted, but couldn't make it through season 1 of the Office (I just can't handle the boss guy.)

I agree 110%. And people keep telling me if I like Parks and Rec I will love the Office. I... don't.
