Cops were called to Big Daddy Zane's Bar in Odessa after she re-opened her trailer trash bar, violating laws put in place by Gov. Abbott. Cops were met with a group of men who said they were there to defend and support Ellison as she opened back up as they had BODY ARMOUR on and said if the police wanted to arrest her, they had to come through them first but they eventually raised the white flag and gave themselves up They belonged to a group called "Open Texas" as they travel around the state with weapons to help businesses reopen their doors Dramatic photos showed the tense standoff between police pointing their gun at the armed men as they order them to put their hands in the air They eventually GAVE UP as Ellison and the 6 fugly men were arrested and charged with Violations of Emergency Management Plan Class B. It is unlawful to carry any firearm in a bar in Texas either openly or concealed and are held on 5000 bond In a phone interview, Ellison said she wanted to reopen her business as employees are struggling and she has been paying them with no help from the paycheque protection program She said "I think some rights were taken away fro us which one of them was like a right to survive.
