Been using a ps4 controller for the past couple of weeks and the light is kind of annyoing. whats the deal with it and why did it need to be so brght and big? it has it on the touchpad thing too. Wouldnt a small LED have sufficed.
When i initially plug it into my PC the light is orange than changes to blue. is there a way to change the colors? also with PS4 controllers can you get one iwth a cable or get a usb cable that is more secure that the plug is shaped to fit snuggly with the curves of the body? ... It does effects for parts in certain games and such.

It's pointless and dumb and serves no useful purpose except to make it look futuristic.

if you're using steam, you can set up a ps4 controller profile (in big picture) and you can change the color through there. pretty sure you can also control the brightness, but i haven't done it in a while.

It's a motion sensor.
Y'know how you can press R3 (pretty sure it's R3) with the virtual keyboard open and use the controller like a laser pointer? The light bar is what makes that work. --- o7 Let strength be granted so the world might be mended. ... Copied to Clipboard!
