I feel like Infinite gets shit on for no reason, I really liked it and it was a bit refreshing compared to the depths of the first two. I know a lot will disagree.

Awesome game. Not as good setting wise as the first 2 but the gunplay was far superior. Too bad they went the 2 weapon route.

Infinite is my favourite of the 3. Although my opinion might be biased by the fact that it was the first one I played.

I played the Bioshock series 3, 1, 2.

I loved all of them though.

Its a really boring linear shooter with some stylish story flourishes. Elizabeth is completely redundant in combat, her powers a gameplay wise are painfully shallow and every combat arena is practically laid out the same way with a central area flanked by two smaller parallel areas that is probably done as a comment on the narrative but thats just lazy imo

Elizabeth and the presentation of the setting are like the only good parts of Infinite. I dont get the gunplay thing. Every battle is just taking potshots and diving into cover when your shield breaks. There were a lot more variety and ways to battle in the previous games, especially 2, with most plasmids being useful whereas most vigors in Infinite were mediocre and outclassed

I really liked the setting but the story didn't use it well enough at all and imo kinda sucked, and it was too much of a shooter compared to Bioshock

Bioshock 2 dealt with racism in a much more tactful way than Infinite did.

That whole scene early in the game was so fucking ridiculous.
