As someone who used to identify as a Republican, I remember going to Drudge Report all the time for my daily dose of conservative propaganda. Something clearly happened in the past two or so years, bit Drudge has become progressively more anti-Trump and anti-GOP. To the point where I'd argue it's even more critical of Trump than the major news networks.

I don't know what his angle is, but it's reassuring to see other people like me decide that enough is enough with the GOP. This country should be better than Trump. What he's done has been disgusting and appalling, regardless of one's political views.

It's the right thing to do regardless of one's political views. He's a disgusting person who makes excuses instead of leading, and he is literally getting us killed with his indifference now.

I don't blame you, I had friends who normally lean right already regretting their choice in voting for Trump. All it really took was seeing how much of a hypocrite he was (especially most of his complaints on Obama backfiring on Trumps own presidency), how much illegal shit he gets away with, and the way he is handling this pandemic.

It was kind of annoying too, because as soon as my right leaning friend declared he is going to vote for Biden on facebook, he was immediately attacked by both sides either saying "lol the right is eating itself up" or being called a "RINO". Everyone is an individual, there's no need to be 100% on one side of the spectrum and people should be able to criticize and hold the same party line accountable.

In summary, I'm not surprised a conservative news outlet is dumping on Trump.

I don't get why people only care about conservative voices if they criticize the GOP. Happens with Fox News all the time. People say network is garbage than celebrate if they criticize Trump it is hilarious.

In-group, Out-group dynamics. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Something, something politics is a team sport.

People will take what they can get, and its comforting to know others think alike, even if it takes a while.

If they turn on him now, then in a few years they get to say they never supported him, and people will buy it. The smarter GOP members are starting to do this as well.
