Greetings CEmen and CEgals.

Tomorrow morning I will be leaving the United States to be with my mother who is grieving the loss of my step-dad. The two of them were retired and living in Baja California (Mexico). My step-dad had passed due to a complication from heart condition leaving my mother a widow.

I have been out of work since March when Covid-19 hit the US staying afloat thanks to unused PTO hours. Thankfully my extended leave was approved and I will be joining my mother who is now all alone in MX. The Mexican government has approved my international travel but I will be under quarantine for the next two weeks, being able to return to the states after the 26th of May.

Not really sure what the wifi situation is going to be like out there so if you don't see me shitposting here, that's probably why.

I know this isn't the best place to ask for emotional or spiritual support but this is where I hang out so any positive thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

Best of luck, bring a N95 face mask and maybe a face shield or at least swimming googles for the plane. Wear adidias style pants and an oversized long sleeve t-shirt over your normal clothes. Right after you land and leave the airport, take off the pants and shirt and leave them behind, if they have any virus in the surface, the clothes you had below may not.

@Wii_Shaker I wish you the best.

If you don't mind me asking, so you had to ask the mexican govt to authorize your travel there? How did you find out about that requirement? Will the US let you fly back just like that once you want to come back?

The Mexican government has the authority to restrict or flat out deny international travel to their country. Basically we had to request the ability to travel, provide them our itinerary and reason for our visit before it was approved. The Mexican gov. is quarantining all travelers, forcing them to stay in the country for at least two weeks.

As an American citizen, I don't think I will have any problems being let back in the country so long as I don't contract Covid-19 while I'm out there.

I love Killer7 and Suda 51 btw ;)

Where I am staying is mostly a community of retired US and Canadian seniors in a very touristy part of Baja near the beach. It's kind of redneck, lol. More ATVs then there are donkeys.

If do come across a donkey show or something fun like that, I'll post it on CE, trust.

Yes!! There is so much killer 7 lore that didn't make it to the game, it's truly fascinating, there was a whole book about it!

As for coming back to the US... if mexico can ask mexicans to quarantine (you're an american, but apparently they can ask that to mexicans too?) maybe the US would ask americans to quarantine as well. Maybe you want to check on that so you can plan accordingly your come back.

You got this bro!
