You can also improve in other areas like having more complicated systems running in the background or having better AI scripting. Ultimately I hope consoles start focusing more on performance instead of graphics. I don't want games that run at 30 fps with dips and have long ass load times. luigi13579 05/10/20 4:20:42 PM #10:	The extra power can always increase the amount that can be done (more so in terms of world detail, number of NPCs/objects, AI, physics, etc. than graphics), but budget and manpower will obviously only stretch so far. At a certain point, it won't be worth it financially, even with infinite processing power. AAA games that make full use of processing power are already hideously expensive. I personally would like to see smaller, more detailed worlds. That way devs might truly push things forward without breaking the bank. <cite>luigi13579 posted [p:938938953] in What's eve...
