Frogger 2 (Swapy's Revenge) isn't hard at all though. I can 100% that game in like an hour or two tops.

I never played anything beyond the original and its console ports. I would rate it easier than Pac-Man or Kangaroo. Kangaroo was really fucking easy relatively. It's like one of the easiest Atari 2600 games. Some difficulty is because of the camera and perspectives making jumps unclear. It doesn't help all of these games have major detection issues with moving platforms.
