I don't really know anything about my grandparents' ages (or anyone before them), but my uncle is 71, I think.

that ain't that old though yea, but my family is from Rwanda, and I think the life expectancy there wasn't the greatest, and many people from both of my parents' sides of the family were killed during the genocide (including their parents), so it's one of those things where I don't know what to expect as far as longevity goes --- b-bb-box ... I don't know of any who lived past their early 80s, and they were all in pretty good shape too

The oldest relative I knew personally alive was my great aunt. She died at 94. Never married or had kids either, so that's interesting. I had a great grandmother die at 93 that I knew alive -- she smoked like a freight train, so that's funny to me.

Had two grandparents live to their late 90's, one to 100.

Great grandmother lived to be well over 90. I forget the exact age she died, but she got her wish of not wanting to be 100.

My grandma turned 98 last month. My grandpa on the same side was 96 when he died 9 years ago.
