eBay vs. Amazon for your daily needs?

I have been an avid Ebayer for about 19 years now. What started as the only place to get SNES games in the early 00's as a collector - has turned into a daily place to buy most products and even clothing now that malls are closed.

I don't like Amazon much, and don't respect jeff bezos much.

From a sellers standpoint I hear Ebay is much better.

I check prices for things on both sites, and 99% of the time what I'm looking for is cheaper on Ebay. Used Ebay items also almost always have pics of the actual item being purchased: meanwhile, I've literally never seen anything but stock photos on Amazon.

For anything used I'll go to ebay. For new stuff I lean Amazon.

Usually ebay sellers have any leftover stock of games that are still sealed but not sold in stores anymore, which is nice as well.

Is eBay still good to sell stuff? I have tons of old consoles and video games that I need to get rid of (declutter).

I've only ever used eBay to buy things I couldn't get from a store or online retailer.
Never considered using it for amazon-like activities.

However, Amazon is horrible to it's employees which leaves me at a dillema.

GameFAQs is great because no one bothers to check my anime profile pic to invalidate my argument.

This

I haven't used amazon in years because of ebay. Also amazon seems to charge 3.99 shipping for everything when lots of things have free shipping on ebay without paying a monthly fee

One of my favorite things to buy is cheap magazines with free shipping(under $3 total)

depends on the games...

15 copies of Chrono Trigger? hundreds...15 copies of Super Mario Allstars? Probably not too much

Daily needs? I go to the store. I did buy a discounted ps + sub from eBay a month ago, and that was the first time I used it in a long time

Definitely amazon.

ebay I used back in the day for adult videos and recently I created an account for Kobe stuff and Bape stuff. Basically collector type clothes shit.

also factor in the movies/shows, the music, and the free shipping and whatever the yearly fee is its really not bad at all and easily pays for itself.

It depends on the item because returns on ebay suck whereas it's super easy on Amazon.
