It seems like in the extended edition, it's mostly just 15 or 20 seconds of extra footage of existing scenes rather than any new scenes. DeadBankerDream 05/16/20 9:47:10 AM #5:	No. The extended editions are filled with pacing breaking fluff that only exists as references to the books without having their proper context present in the films. That said, the extended version of FotR is by far the best one of them. RotK in particular had a certain entrance that I thought was awesome in theater because we hadnt seen these characters in a while. But in the extended version theres an extra scene showing how they got there that I think ruins the surprise. --- I am the Cheese! I am the best character on the show!
