I think there are certain circumstances but yes most of the time a felony pretty much fucks you out of legally owning a gun.
And no Johnny Law doesn't come get them. Johnny Law is patient and will wait on your ass to slip up and get caught with one. Then they have their foot on your neck. Then people might snitch. Now if you get caught with dope and they think you have more at your house they can usually obtain a warrant and take all your guns. I've seen a guy get their dad's hunting rifles/shotguns taken from him because he was selling dope out of his parents house and the parents didn't give a shit. --- p226 ... Copied to Clipboard!

You can't have body armor either. That depends on where you live. "Free" states don't restrict body armor. Though I don't know anyone that has body armor and doesn't own at least 5 guns much less 1. --- p226 ... Copied to Clipboard!

It is a federal offense for a convicted felon to handle a gun in any fashion. They are prohibited from buying them through the federal background check system. They are prohibited from owning them. They are prohibited from recreationally shooting other people's guns.

In North Carolina, with a felony conviction, you can't own, possess, or be in custody, care, or control of a firearm. It's a mid-level felony.

Has jack shit to do with the NRA or whatever boogeyman group.I think it's harder to own a gun as a felon than this post implies. If your PO catches you with a gun, you're going to jail. If the cops hear that you might own a gun, they can investigate, maybe even get a warrant and search the house. Yeah, you have to "not get caught," but that means using it for protection or anything will make you caught. Having a gun usually puts more of a target on your back, though that might not matter if it saves your life. --- "We live in a country Hasire.." ~ yosouf06 REVOLVER STAKE! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v717/ChocoboMog123/AltEisenRChocoboMog.png ...
