If your hours suddenly get cut drastically, you can get partial unemployment, even if you're still working some.

I think if you work a certain number of hours a week they just cut your wages from the check.

some make more than the job itself. though my roommate is likely going to have to rid of it (hours are really picking up) knew it was bound to happen despite phase 1 restrictions.

then again things could change again when shit gets locked down again (don't really want it to happen).
if anything it'll be from washington/portland tourists that fuck it up for the community.

Yeah that bonus $600, especially in poorer states, are putting people in a higher pay scale than they were in working 40 hours. I want to be like "That's unfair" but at the same time, its kinda shitty that some people in the US make less than $600 a week working full time.

One of my coworkers works part-time with us, and part-time at another job for a total of 45-50 hours, 6 days a week, and can still barely afford his apartment with his girlfriend and another roommate. And it's in a tiny little podunk town! It's absurd.

cost of living can really vary in areas. at one point it was reasonably cheap about 7 years ago then the prices really went up.

alot of apartments got taken down in favor of condo's.
