Should arrive Friday. It's a Creality machine, same brand as my normal printer.

Anyone have any experience? Any tips?

What's SLA? Like what makes it different from the one you already have? :0

SLA stands for stereolithography.

It uses light to cure layers of resin one at a time to build the model, instead of extruding a solidness into place. It uses liquid resin, a screen, and way fewer moving parts. Waaaay higher resolution and print quality, but more expensive and the size of the print space is also quite small. But the print quality and precision is unmatched.

3d printing smoking paraphernalia doesn't work well because of the material. Routing hit burning air through a brittle plastic or resin is a really bad idea and exactly how you get cancer <_<

So sadly nope. Not really feasible unless you do some special stuff. For instance, with certain SLA printers you can print ceramic pieces and fire them for a 100% ceramic finished product. This would be the perfect candidate to make a pipe or bong out of.

I won't be able to do that for a bunch of reasons but it is possible
