Lol I don't need alts. I have this account and that's it. I've had 1 suspension and maybe 3 dozen moderations in 19 years.
What he posted and what I've posted are the general sentiments of how people on the left view law enforcement.
I see lol. What's your sentiment on this

So it's only about what your uncle told you. I don't suppose he worked in a large enough area to accurately judge even a small fraction of police in the country?

When they stop you, you are lower than them. They are a cop "doing good" and you are a "suspect" not a citizen to be protected.

Yeah I was talking someone here about that, they treat people like convicts , they have to be up to something. They justify them being assholes to people with that logic, while at the same time the people have to treat them like gods or something up.

Oh no, out of 1000 death, most of which were likely justified, a few bad people likely got away with something evil! That means the very core of the policing system is 100% broken because less than 1% of 1% of them did something really fucking horrible!

It's like people don't understand how large of a fucking country the US is. That's no reason not to seek justice for outright murder from police and fix systems under which they get away with said murder, but think fucking objectively about the fucking percentages for five minutes.

Lol yeah, the only time police do anything wrong is when they literally murder someone in cold blood. Its not like they enforce a perpetual system of abuse, harassment, and suppression of human rights that you seem to be for some reason unaware of. Nah, definitely not that.

Cops are one of the only professions in my experience where

  1. They knee jerk defend people of their professions who allegedly do bad things hundreds of miles away.
  2. They threaten to not do their jobs if their fee-fees are hurt.

If you don't have any relevant numbers, then you're just talking out your ass. Police abuse and corruption obviously exist, but provide evidence if you want to act like the entire system is full of corrupt assholes. What's really happening in most cases is that we have some really fucked up areas in terms of both high amounts of crim and corrupt police, so people see that and think it's some wide spread problem affecting every small town police station. We can admit we have some major tumors without acting like we're terminally ill.

most cops don't see co workers committing atrocities

All the shit you see on youtube and the news is the minority. Not just in terms of bad copd but in terms of literally what's going on. Most cops are dealing with drunk idiots, domestic disputes and bogus calls all day

I think people don't realise how boring and awkward police work is most of the time

Added to this, all those "normie" cops being exposed to the epidemic of constant anti cop bullshit in the country have probably themselves been falsely or unfairly accused of things more than a handful of times each, so they're more willing to give bad cops the benefit of the doubt.

If its just an accusation of a lesser crime its understandable if they dont believe it. But when its death youre a POS cop if you defend it.

this is a more articulate explanation of my stance on police than I could give.
Cops are bad because they uphold the law that we all agree to live under

I am absolutely certain there are a ton cops who are wonderful people out of uniform, but thats honestly irrelevant. At the end of the day none of them truly take a stand against the evil ones. Sure, they can go on social media and post about how theyre not all bad, and like I said Im sure some of them are great people outside of work, but at the end of the day their words are hollow since they continue to bring home a paycheck they got for knowingly and willfully serving a corrupt institution.

They cant say theyre on the peoples side against a corrupt system while simultaneously making their livelihoods off of that same system.

The degree or nature of the accusation is inconsequential when there's a real omnipresent bias against police, especially in the media. I've seen raw videos posted on bluelivesmatter.org that included footage deliberately edited out by CNN and other outlets.

At the end of the day, you guys think its civilians responsibility to understand cops and defuse the situation. But it should be the opposite. The pros should be the ones taking the high ground and diffusing.

instead they are acting like snow flakes. They dont realize theres a reason people dont trust you.
