Often times the system will deliberately put black faces they know they can influence or control in positions of power to appease the gullible masses. It's a better visual if you're a corrupt city or police department to have a black person giving a press conference or answering interview questions. They put a black man or woman somewhere and say "see", meanwhile the same or even worse behavior is occurring within the organization. "All skin folk ain't kin folk." Having a black judge certainly didn't mean shit in the Botham Jean case as far as getting justice. Some of these shootings of unarmed black people are committed partly or in whole by other black officers too. --- Let go your earthly tether. Enter the void. To actually solve the problem, police unions need to lax on the protections they have built up so that way when cops kill innocent unarmed men who were in no way shape or form a threat to anyone including the officer they aren't protected. We've also reached the point in which the good cops can not remain silent towards the bad cops. --- If you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all.
