It sounds as if there's a huge need for reform in that county's police department as well as the county attorney's office since they were so compromised that they had to recuse themselves from doing their job.

I defended the premise of law and order and not punishing people for acting within them. You don't get to give someone cash then immediately call the police for theft of said cash, you can only judge someone on the rules at the time, not by whatever rules you make later.

Three DA's had this evidence available, yet saw no cause to investigate and the only actions they took were to lie to the victim's family that he was shot during a burglary and to pen a letter defending the murderers (one of whom was a colleague).
Why are these DAs not being arrested?
They need massive jail time, what an absolute abuse of power!

Fight or flight. He tried to run. They then jumped out and began physically assaulting him so he was left with no choice but to defend himself. He had no guarentee "complying" would protect him when he had the opportunity to flee, then he lost the ability to flee and had no choice but to fight.

They had no right to stop or detain him, what happened is a murder. It doesn't suddenly stop being a murder because they shot him when he refused to comply with demands they had no right to issue.

You are suggesting they had the divine right to do whatever they wished merely because they held a gun. That is not a defense that is insanity.

That 2 red necks chased down a black guy for the crime of looking at a building under construction and brandished shotguns, so he decided to run, they hit him with their truck and then shot him multiple times. Afterward at least one of them used a racial slur. In the after math multiple district attorneys didnt file charges, even defending the killers because one used to work as an investigator for the DAs office. Only when a national outrage happened over it did the governor look into it and subsequently charges were finally filed. I may be wrong but he did run at first and when they pulled in front of him, he could have run away any direction but he chose to run towards them and then tried to wrestle one of their guns away?
