No, his solutions are not far worse. His solutions are based on a belief in the unity of the nation, and the power of the individuals to raise themselves out of poverty when empowered. Bernie's actual policy positions by his own words will double the national budget and his tax plan only raises enough money to cover roughly half of it. If we are bothering with actual policy positions, then Bernie is on even weaker footing then he is if we're just judging him for being a nice old man.

Bernie just has promises, not policy. And if you honestly think that policy is the most important thing to consider then you should be fighting for Warren anyway since she had by far the most concrete and actionable policy plans out of anyone.

...I'm a mathematician. I would know all about the math of Bernie's proposals. I think you mean to say economic theory, or economic awareness. His policy proposals contain a significant amount of economic theory, and its framework is based on history with minor significant modern updates that aren't comparatively farfetched whatsoever from the originals.

Also, the DNC helping out biden by extended the impeachment proceedings so sanders and others were forced to stay in DC, while Biden was free to devote himself 100% to campaigning was a huge huge boon for the biden campaign.

I get that you have gained this rebuttal for people who say Bernie's policies are employed in Scandinavia, and therefore you've come up with a host of other policies that are employed in Scandinavia that you think Bernie does not support, but I am not someone who mentioned Scandinavia. You did not need to bring a Scandinavian example into this conversation, especially since most of those policies were employed in the last decade by a right-wing government.

School choice is also a misnomer; school choice would imply many alternative options that Sweden does not provide.
The private investment in social security you've mentioned would be argued against by U.S. Republicans on the grounds that it increases governmental power, which again, goes against your narrative.
A tradeoff of low corporate tax rates for higher middle class tax burdens misses the host of other tax methods utilized by the country you've chosen, which greatly diminish the divide you think exists.
The wealth tax you refer to misses the ratio of CEO-to-employee pay difference.
The property tax scale wasn't scrapped; it was flattened.

So again, please don't list Scandinavia when no one addressed it.

I'm not a Democrat, but I'll give my take:

Bernie is a fucking socialist who advocates higher taxes, free stuff, and absurd capitulations to anybody and everybody who ever complains.

The man has literally walked away from his own podium in response to unruly protesters rushing the stage and stealing his microphone. The motherfucker just lets people talk into his mic when it's not their turn and shuts down his speech at their request. It's honestly sad to watch.

Meanwhile, he's also a bit of a snake in the grass--begs for donations, brags about the millions of dollars in donations received from people who can barely afford their cost of living, and then drops out of the race and churns the money back into the DNC in favor of the candidate who they specifically wanted him to defeat.

He's a failure and has never accomplished any meaningful legislation after decades in the house/senate. He's a messenger, but not a leader. He would be a terrible president.

I'm a Republican, so take this with a grain of salt, but....

Because, and I know that this might be a shocking statement, but the Democratic Party is actually popular among registered Democrats. So running on a platform of completely upending the party and throwing shade at the party's past, especially recent past, annoyed the hell out of a load of lifelong consistent Democratic voters. So when push came to shove, they united behind Biden, and that consistent voting bloc was larger than the Sanders base.

All there really is to it.

Right, that would be true, and that would follow sound logic, your very rudimentary and superficial deduction that Sweden's welfare system cannot be enacted without Sweden's method of paying for it.
However, you miss four crucial details, which is why you've committed the fallacy of cherry picking (as I told you that you did):
You skip the important detail that Sweden has a host of other taxes which the U.S. doesn't have, so as to pay for their programs. You seem to forget that Bernie isn't recommending a carbon copy of Sweden, he's stating that some of his policies have been tried and tested and have not failed. You don't even bother to try to allude to the fact that no country pays for their policies on the face of it; a system of bonds and credit are instead issued. You also seem to forget that every single Scandinavian country including Sweden takes in more immigrants-per-capita than the U.S. does and also invests in public project housing for them, which is a step you would die fighting against.

So, enough with the red herring which I told you to throw away a long time ago. Enough with the strawman on Bernie's reference to trial and error. Stop cherry picking the cake you're serving. Your 'triple fallacy trifecta' wouldn't be able to stop itself from sinking even if it were on land.
