I have a question about equilibrium constants. From my understanding, water is not included in the Kc whenever it is either in excess as the solvent or when water is present as a liquid since the constant would just be 1. Under what specific conditions would water be present in the Kc? I was thinking either when it's present in gas form as the constant would not be 1 in that instance or if water ends up being one of the products of the reaction. Is there truth to that?
I already researched this on the internet but I just wanted to make absolutely sure. Rather be safe than sorry. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Does the concentration of water change in the reaction? If yes, include it. If no, omit it.
