So back before Hurricane Michael rolled through, we had a pretty big tropical storm here in Florida. I rode it out in my truck because lol fuck homeless shelters.

Anyway, I had picked an abandoned lot close to my work (this was before I learned to just park at Walmart or McDonalds) to sleep in. And sure enough, this attracted four cops to me who woke up banging on my window, with their cars surrounding me on all sides so I apparently couldnt get out.

And I went through the rigamarole and they had nothing to pin me with so they let me be.

But, then they decided to, in middle of a tropical storm with like 20 mph winds and torrential rain, to stand around in a circle bullshitting for over an hour. All the while their lights still on preventing me from going back to sleep.

They did this for over an hour. No umbrellas or even raincoats. Just standing in the rain for no reason.

Now sure, Im a Floridian so its not like the rain is that bad, but fucking why???

Now why am I sharing this story? Because its amusing and illustrates what kind of fucked in the head people tend to populate police forces.
