The first game

You were asking earlier why I thought the game would be polarising. There are people who hate the ending with a passion. Because we have focus tests toward the end of production and we do these exit interviews, and there are people who have said, I love the game, love the mechanics, love the combat, but youve gotta fix the ending, you really have to fix the ending.

Id rather people be passionate about it either way than shrug and say, yeah that was good.

I'm going to keep an open mind, Naughty Dog so far hasn't given me a reason to not trust them. Personally I don't think there needed to be a direct sequel so anything at all will probably be a letdown, but I'm not going to outright hate it before I play it. At the end of the day it's his vision, it's his story, he can do what he wants with it. If it makes sense in the confines of the overall story, I'll be ok with that.

I'm indifferent because I thought the first game was pretty meh but saying this kinda shit before release is bad marketing. Couple it with the "we don't use the word fun" or whatever, despite their actual intent, they just say really really stupid shit about their games. Especially because they're not really doing anything interesting gameplay wise anyways.
