It's 1 - 1 at your local little league game.

Your daughter is goalkeeping for one of the teams. There are only seconds left and if the game ends as a draw it goes to penalties which your daughter is great at.

Darnell (who has a reputation for being a bully) boots the soccerball full force as hard as he can and it nails your daughter directly in the face with a loud smack.

Your daughter crumples to the floor crying while Darnell runs forward, jumps, does a twirl in the air then taps the ball past the exposed goalline with a cheeky backheel to win the game 2 - 1 in the closing seconds.

"Opps sorry. I was aiming for the corner, guess I didn't realise how massive your big head was. My bad." Darnell says sardonically before running off to show off his victory with his teammates.

You can't prove it but you are sure he did it on purpose because he thought your daughter would have saved his shot then won on penalties if he played fair

Intentionally booting the ball into people's faces is illegal. It can cause serious damage. It's considered violent behavior and Soccerball is a non-contact sport.

Now despite the fact that says acting fail, the dude who kicked the ball actually got sent off for doing it.

It's like how in baseball it's illegal for the pitcher to throw the ball into the batter's face.

Only difference is in baseball it's automatic where as in soccerball it's up to the referee to judge whether it was intentional.
