To (officially) participate, use the handy tool on the site to generate a registration tweet and fire it off to @ff5forfutures (otherwise known as Gilgabot).

The fiesta is a collective challenge run: you are assigned four jobs(one per crystal) based on the parameters you choose. You must have at least one instance of every unlocked job in your party at all times, and you may not use any job that hasn't been assigned to you.

But EV, isn't that hard?
FFV is actually a fairly easy game, and multiple people beat it with nothing but berserkers every year. To put your mind at ease, here are some tips for surviving early on with your wind job...

Knight, Monk
Just buy the best equipment you can along with a hefty pile of potions, and spam attack. The only thing that will give you any trouble at all is Garula(the Walse Tower boss), but as long as you bought enough healing items, you'll get through it.

Thief
Basically the above, except thieves do less damage and are less robust...so, harder. Garula will be rough, but you can (rarely) steal Mythril Daggers from the Wyverns in Walse Tower. Even one can give you a good boost in your damage output. Money shouldn't be a problem, just rob enemies.

Black Mage
Buy every spell you can and spam them from the safety of the back row. Garula isn't weak to anything you have, so he'll be tough, but you'll be in the back row(thus taking half damage) and have a hefty pile of potions, so you'll do okay.

White Mage
Congratulations, your run is basically a guaranteed success, because white magic makes it very hard to die ever. The problem is that white mages are pathetically weak attackers who struggle to kill anything, so every battle is going to be tedious. The Flail is the only source of something approximating real damage. No one will judge you if you run one freelancer until you get your water job, not even Garula is/was going to kill you.

Blue Mage
Yep, you're going to win, but you'll probably want a guide to find all that deliciously overpowered blue magic. Basically, blue mages learn enemy skills by being hit by them. Important early ones:
Goblin Punch - From the goblins that can be found around Tycoon and the Wind Tower
Vampire - From the bats in the pirate cave
Flash - From the tombstone enemies on the mountain(you'll have to throw them an ether/elixir)
Pond's Chorus - From the frog enemies in the secret cave behind Walse Castle

That last one lets you cheese Garula: he's weak to Toad. He actually knows Toad, which he'll cast on himself to heal the status, but he doesn't have much MP, so just keep spamming Pond's Chorus until he runs out of MP and then laugh as he flails around impotently.
Blue Mages can equip most weapons, but they're weak and frail, so if you're worried, you can put everyone in back and just spam Goblin Punch. If you take damage, Vampire to heal(unless you're in the ship graveyard, everything there is undead except for the boss).

As for me, well, Gilgabot was exceptionally kind and gave me Blue Mage. Just starting in on North Mountain now. Blue Mage can probably get me through this even if I don't get anything else good, so I'm feeling great. Anyone else here running?
